Chalhoub, pioneer of fashion and luxury in the Middle East

The Chalhoub group was created in 1955 when Michel and Widad Chalhoub opened their first Christofle store in Syria. After moving and developing their activities in Lebanon and Kuwait, they installed their headquarters in the UAE in 1990.

Today the group is mainly located in Dubai Design District (d3), a space where designers, creators, artists and brands can develop their concepts and ideas. For example, d3 welcomed the last edition of Men’s Arab Fashion Week.

Chalhoub is operating over 700 stores and 40 e-commerce websites across the Middle East (14 countries) through different partnerships and owned brands in beauty, fashion and luxury sectors.

Joint ventures and partnerships with leading companies

  • Over the years Chalhoub built strong partnerships with World leading companies: Christian Louboutin, Fendi, Céline, Coty, Mulberry, Acqua Di Parma, Berluti, Chaumet, Dior, Farfetch, Givenchy, L’Occitane, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Puig, Sephora, Lacoste…
  • Within these joint ventures, many innovative concepts were born like L’Occitane Café City Walk or b8ta store at The Dubai Mall

Owned and developed concepts

  • Chalhoub also developed many lifestyle brands like Level Shoes (footwear and accessories), Faces, Wow Beauty Forward and Ghawali (beauty and cosmetics), Tryano (department stores), Tanagra and Christofle (home furnishing and table art)

Services dedicated to companies

  • Chalhoub also developed its activities offering supply chain, technology, administration, accounting and legal services. For instance, the retailer currently owns 76,000 m2 of warehouse space
  • Furthermore, the group is collaborating with Havas to propose media, communication and marketing expertise to brands
